Our Chef’s Table offers you the opportunity to experience and enjoy the beauty of the ingredients without having to lift a finger.

Esther Veerman (aka The Country Cook) is a specialist in game cookery. Working with BASC, Taste of Game and local enterprises to inspire people to utilise the spoils of the shooting industry. Taught the traditional skills by her grandmother Mrs Green; the cook for a large shooting estate, Esther grew up in the world of field sports and her beloved gun dogs. Finalist in the 2015 Game Chef of The Year she went on to publish her game cookbook From Field & Moor; A Country Cook's Sport which received outstanding reviews.
This promises to be an entertaining and educational evening, offering the very best of British Game.
7.30pm Meet at the Malton Cookery School for champagne & canapés.
8.00pm Dinner is prepared and served at the Chef’s Table.
£65 per person
Accommodation is available at the Talbot Hotel just 2 minutes from the Malton Cookery School.
