Tim Bond

Tim Bond is a regional representative for the Encephalitis Society having suffered from the condition in 2007. Having to relearn so much of what we all take for granted was a challenge but out of this came a rekindled love and passion for food. Over time Tim regained his ability to produce wonderful food and this has culminated in the production of his first book 'Food for thought... and brain' published in 2014 in association with the society. Tim joined us for a sell-out event at the Malton Cookery School in October 2014 for a wonderful evening of champagne, wine, great food and great company. We look forward to welcoming Tim back soon.

Sara Danesin Medio

Sara Danesin Medio

My name is Sara, I am now a full time Chef after reaching the finals of MasterChef 2011.

The show has been an amazing experience and offered me an invaluable platform giving me the motivation to change from nursing to a full time career in food.

When John and Gregg told the three finalists "Go out and make the most of your talent", I took their advice seriously.

The result of all the blood, sweat and tears that came from MasterChef made me understand the secret of taking food from an ordinary to an extraordinary dimension. Consequently, I left my job as an intensive care sister, a very difficult decision, and have launched a new business focussed entirely on good food.
